For the Ohio Mountain Bike League’s Aloha season, we’ve adopted some changes to our fee schedule. After reviewing both area Club Sports fees and pay-to-play fees of area High Schools, we feel that our league will be able to offer an amazing experience at an affordable rate.
For the student-athlete
The 2023 season, including league and national registration, all team practices, and five race events is $300. This fee covers insurance for the whole season, including OMBL activities and group rides. For student athletes that cannot make all the races, the cost is $100 plus $50 per race.
Cost breakdown:
NICA National Membership $40, League Registration $60, and Race Fees $200 race package, or $50 per race
For Coaches (or any Level 1 Volunteer or adult working with the student-athletes on a team)
The costs is a $25 league registration fee plus a background check. Background check is $38.
Any adult who participates in team practices must be a registered coach with OMBL and background checked.
After a trying 2020 that saw most events cancelled, postponed or dramatically cut back, we’re looking forward to a return to some sense of normal in the Fall of 2021.
In the event that races are forced to cancel, including due to weather, the attached Cancellation Policy will apply.
